UGA’s Qualitative Research Program is a national leader in advancing innovative theories and methodologies that shape the future of qualitative inquiry and evaluation. Through our Ph.D. in Qualitative Research and Evaluation Methodologies (QREM) and the Graduate Certificate in Interdisciplinary Qualitative Studies (IQS), we cultivate scholars and practitioners whose creativity, critical inquiry, collaborative spirit, and care guide their ability to design, evaluate, and implement high-quality qualitative research and evaluation studies.

This program is ideal for individuals seeking advanced preparation in designing and conducting qualitative studies, including those who may teach qualitative methods in academic or professional settings.

You will gain:

  • An up-to-date understanding of key theoretical approaches
